About the course

From the very start of their lives, children continue to grow and develop and learn as well. There are many milestones through which a child’s development can be measured, namely - social, emotional and physical, language and intellectual development.   • Different types of schools in the education sector
  • How schools are organised in terms of roles and responsibilities
  • Understanding how schools uphold their aims and values
  • Laws and codes of practice affecting work in schools
  • Range and purpose of school policies and procedures
  • Wider context in which schools operate
